Keeping it Classy... McGirr Style

My first destination was a blast-and-a-half, as well as a great success and I can only credit Katie and Joe with all of the above. Not only do these two know how to throw one heck of a party, they let me drag their tired little feet through Sea Port Village for a whirlwind shoot long after their wedding had ended. I couldn't have asked for a better experience in getting my feet wet outside of Colorado.

The Beauty of a Good Bluster

I don't know which is worse for a shoot... wind or rain, and lately it seems that we've had either one or the other. As a photographer, neither situation as ideal, but they're both doable... The worst part is reading the dread on your client's face as their nicely manicured hair is whipping wildly in the wind. But April and David were troopers when the wind blustered through their photo shoot a few weeks back. In fact, as far as hair goes I think we captured some pretty cool dramatics that would not have been possible on a still day.

This cute couple will be tying the knot in August, so check back in to catch the images from their big day!

Awaiting Raelynn

Maternity pictures are such a personal experience... so beautiful and intimate, that I rarely expect my clients to give me permission to share such a private part of their lives with the depths of the internet. So when I am given that freedom I am truly appreciative! Little Raelynn, who is only a beautiful little bump in her parent's world in these pictures, has since come to grace us and I hope to introducer her to you all soon.
